Financial Analyst
Universal Soul Service Corp. – Richmond Hill, ON
USSC has an exciting job opportunity at our Richmond Hill office. Reporting to the Executive team of Heaven’s Library the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with editors to supply editorial materials to the sales team
- Provide administrative support to Heaven’s Library
- Maintain and track the trademark agreements
- Communicate with external editors, contributors, and publishing companies
- Obtain release forms where indicated and maintain database
- Ensure all communication complies with internal guidelines for style and brand management
- Fulfill document requests and manage deadlines for several projects at once
- Liaise with the publishing companies and the finance team to order books and CDs while following purchasing processes
- Liaise with various departments at Universal Soul Service Corp. such as marketing and the warehouse teams
- Liaise with IT and marketing to support online bookstore
- Monitor Heaven’s Library/Publishing Assistant inbox and update the publishing schedule as needed, responding to all requests in a timely manner
- Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes
- Ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by manager
- Administrative support to other departments as needed
Skills Required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office, as well as advance level in Word
- Database management
- Project Management is an asset
- Bilingual sn an asset
- Proven experience in the Publishing industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to multi-task
- Capacity to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
