With the growing popularity of yoga and spiritual wisdom in recent years, you’ve probably heard about the chakra system and the importance of unblocking your chakras. First mentioned in the Vedas (ancient sacred Indian texts), chakras are spiritual energy centers in the body that can be balanced and developed to improve your total wellbeing. Each chakra corresponds to aspects of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual life and when properly activated, they can help you to grow and to heal.
The word chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel.” Thought to be spinning disks of energy that correspond to major organs and nerves within the body, sickness is presumed to occur when they are blocked and not functioning at their optimal best. Hence, numerous practices involving movement, sound, visualizations, and more have emerged for clearing and balancing the seven chakras.
It is easy to find ample information and interpretations of the chakra system, but here is one view of the fundamental location and purpose of each chakra, sometimes referred to as Soul Houses by Dr. & Master Sha.
The First Chakra/Soul House sits at the base of your torso. Some primary functions are boosting energy, grounding, confidence, and the healing power of the body.
The Second Chakra/Soul House is in the lower abdomen. It is the center for energy, stamina, and vitality and connects to the organs in the lower abdomen, such as the large intestine.
The Third Chakra/Soul House is at the navel level. It relates to the digestive system and many organs in this area of the body and can boost strength and courage.
The Fourth (Heart) Chakra/Soul House is in the center of the chest. The center for love and compassion, it is vital for spiritual communication, life transformation and healing of the heart and lungs.
The Fifth Chakra/Soul House resides in the throat. It is important for self-expression, willpower and for the healing of all areas of the throat.
The Sixth (Third Eye) Chakra/Soul House is in the middle of the brain. It is the center for intuition, spiritual sight, intelligence, wisdom, and healing of all brain functions.
The Seventh (Crown) Chakra/Soul House sits at the top of the head and is a vital energy center for higher consciousness and spiritual advancement.
Many view the seven chakras as vital pathways to good health and emotional and mental wellbeing. Dr. and Master Sha has simplified this complex system into a practice that one can accomplish and benefit from with ease. An Act of Forgiveness Can Heal Your Heart
Forgiveness is the key to happiness and well-being. When we practice forgiveness, we are removing the negative messages within our souls, hearts, and minds that are at the root of our challenges in life. Unconditional forgiveness is a powerful way to nurture your mental and emotional well-being. It can be very hard to forgive, but it will bring you inner joy and inner peace. Scientific research supports what the ancient wisdom of all traditions share, that forgiveness helps us heal, physically, mentally and emotionally. Release yourself from the past with forgiveness for a healthier and more joyful life.
Tips to help you forgive
- Make a commitment to forgive. Give yourself time but set your intention on forgiving.
- Exercise compassion. Perhaps someone hurt you because of their own stress and painful experiences.
- Breathe deeply and meditate. Soothe and calm yourself to shift to a state of forgiveness.
- Remember that forgiveness is not the same as condoning another’s action. It means you accept what has happened and are freeing yourself from reliving it in your mind.
- Focus on gratitude and do something that helps you feel joy in the present.
- Show forgiveness with words, a gift, or a kind gesture.

How to Stop Negative Self-Talk
One of the ways we make ourselves unhappy is by negative self-talk, telling ourselves we are not good enough and dwelling on our mistakes. Sending negative messages to ourselves over and over again is at the root of our life challenges. Illness, disharmony in relationships, and a lack of success can all result from negative information filling our souls, hearts, minds, and bodies. Meditating and focusing on positive messages can lessen negative self-talk and bring out our love for ourselves and humanity.
It helps to be more aware of your inner voice and to consciously replace negative messages with positive affirmations. Chanting mantras can transform your consciousness and connect you to positive energy. With love in your heart, show yourself the compassion and understanding that you would give to a loved one or close friend.
Finally, one of the best ways to silence negative inner messages is to volunteer to help others. When you make life better for someone else, it will shift your attention to the good you can do and the gifts you have to give the world.
How Gratitude Can Shift Your Mindset
Gratitude has been proven to make us more happy and resilient. When we focus on gratitude, it replaces negative feelings and shifts us from feeling disappointment, sadness, and regret. Placing our attention on being thankful changes how we see the world, helps us to live in the present moment, and opens our hearts to seeing the goodness that is all around us. Gratitude helps us turn away from and rise above negative messages that cause unhappiness and depression. Feeling gratitude builds our immunity and gives us the strength to stay calm and centered, no matter what life may bring.
Studies have shown some specific things to do to focus on gratitude:
- Spend time with family and friends. Scientists have shown that bonding with others boosts oxytocin, the love hormone, and makes us appreciate and enjoy life more.
- Volunteer to help others and appreciate how fortunate you are to have the inner and outer resources to give and share.
- Keep a gratitude journal and list at least three things that you are grateful for a few times a week.
- Write thank you notes, and be specific about what someone has done to enhance your life.
When we feel gratitude, negative feelings melt away, and we can add more of what we love to our life and increase our happiness.

A New Higher-Level Job
At the end of the healing days, Master Teacher Francisco offered a special free blessing for those who had lost jobs due to Covid-19. He also asked each of us to think of someone we know who lost their job due to Covid-19, so they could also receive the blessing. Tim thought of our friend who had lost her job as a corporate trainer back in spring and had not found a new one. In the week before the Financial Healing Days, she had several interviews for new positions. However, she had not received any firm job offers.
The day after Tim thought of our friend for the blessing, she got 3 offers for new jobs in her field. One of the offers was particularly impressive. The salary was more than 3 times what she made at her last job. Also, the title was a higher-level title, one that she had tried to earn many times in the past and previously could not achieve. Of course, she accepted this role!
We are so grateful for this blessing for our friend!

Daily Small Business Revenue Rebounds
After participating and receiving the Tao light treasures in the Tao Calligraphy Field Healing Days – Transforming your Finances and Health, something great happened.
My family invested in a small business just before Covid-19 hit and shut down most of the offices and work space in downtown Vancouver. We’ve been open since June 2020 and up to now we are at around 30% – 60% daily revenue of what the store used to make pre-Covid-19.
Today, October 7, 2020, we had our highest number at around 76% daily revenue of what the store used to make. We didn’t do anything different. It’s already a miracle since the foot traffic is nowhere near what it used to be before Covid-19 hit.
Thank you, Master Sha.
