While we are still going through these trying times, we want to welcome everyone to the Tao Calligraphy Healing Field to raise your positive energy and frequency and to help you be healthier and happier. Whatever challenges you may be facing, this transformational field can help raise your consciousness and help you keep a flow of positive energy and messages flowing through you.
Tao Calligraphy is Oneness writing, written in one stroke, carrying the positive messages of love, forgiveness, compassion, and more that align soul, heart, mind, and body as one. As these high frequency messages pour into you, it will help you uplift your well-being, your intelligence and wisdom, your relationships, finances, businesses, and your spiritual growth.
We are so glad to offer you a place for lowering your stress, balancing your emotions, and finding more inner peace and joy. The key is matching the frequency and vibration of the positive states you wish to experience. With the positive energy of the Tao Calligraphy Healing Field, you connect with universal wisdom to heal your own life and to spread more love, peace, and harmony to your loved ones, your colleagues, your community, and to the world. Together we will get through this difficult time by resonating with love, following Master Sha’s profound teaching that unconditional love melts all blockages.

In the summer of 2015, Dr and Master Zhi Gang Sha created the first Tao Chang or Tao Calligraphy Healing Field as it is known today, in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the time, he had been at a retreat in Sydney, Australia, but received a divine message that he needed to go to Hawaii.
He landed in Hawaii and proceeded to create over 100 Tao Calligraphies, which were displayed around the meeting hall where his event was being held. He then began to share the wisdom of what he had created and stated that the Tao Chang is a Source field that holds the highest frequency and vibration that could transform the low frequency of those who meditated within it, helping to relieve their suffering from physical, emotional, and mental challenges. When low frequencies are transformed to higher frequencies, a greater sense of well-being may result.
Master Sha also shared with his top teachers that he had created this Tao Chang to form a field of positive frequency and vibration around the Hawaiian Islands. That year there were 18 hurricanes that threatened the state but, for whatever reason, they either dissipated, moved north or south of the island chain, or weakened, to the point where there was very little damage done. The results were remarkable, considering what a direct hit from a Category 1 Hurricane or strong tropical storm would have caused. Many scientists and news reporters were amazed at Hawaii’s good fortune that year.
Below is a picture that clearly shows a field around the Hawaiian Islands, along with the juxtaposition of all the hurricanes that occurred that year.

Since then, during every hurricane season, there have been instances where Hawaii was under hurricane watch. However, each time the islands were spared what could have been extreme devastation and destruction, as in the case of Hurricane Iwa in 1982 and Hurricane Iniki in 1992. Iwa was a Category 1 Hurricane with wind speed at 93 mph. There were four fatalities, and damages were estimated to be $312 million (1982 USD). Iniki was a Category 4 Hurricane with wind speed at 143 mph. Six people lost their lives then, and damages were estimated to be $3.1 billion (1992 USD).
Just two weeks ago, Hurricane Douglas was predicted to be on track to hit the entire island chain. Through scientific reporting, all of the news stations showed the Hawaiian Islands were directly centered in the hurricane’s pathway. Douglas was supposed to weaken and become a tropical storm as it approached the Hawaiian Islands. However, it intensified instead with wind speeds of 90 mph with gusts at 115 mph.
Master Sha has taught his students a sacred lesson:
Tian Ren Ge Ban
This phrase teaches that Heaven (Tian) and human beings (Ren) are in a 50/50 relationship. Heaven will do 50% of the work that is required to accomplish a task, and the remaining work is to be done by human beings.
In keeping with this valuable teaching, the students of Master Sha also began singing and chanting positive messages to protect our island state. We, along with all other spiritual groups throughout the world who were engaged at that particular moment in time, joined voices, hearts and souls together as one with prayers and wishes for a good outcome.
What happened hour-by-hour was miraculous. As Douglas began approaching the islands, it slowly began to move northward of the Big Island of Hawai’i, missing its most northern shores. Instead of the expected massive destruction, Hilo experienced heavy rain. Douglas then began approaching Maui. However, it continued on its northerly path and missed the windward shores by a few miles. Oahu was next. It looked as though Douglas would make landfall, but, in the last hour, Douglas suddenly veered northward again, and its outer rim skimmed the north shore of Oahu. A student, who lives only two houses away from the main road along the coast, shared that the waves were so big that they reached her driveway and a part of the road was washed off into the ocean. She panicked, but then saw with her spiritual eye a giant calligraphy that was made with stars appear underneath the entire island chain. The message that she received was that it represented protection and Master Sha’s precepts of love, peace and harmony. As Douglas continued onward, it missed striking the island of Kauai. Oddly, Hurricane Douglas never weakened and continued on its path to the rest of the uninhabited portions of the Hawaiian Islands at hurricane strength.

By the grace of heaven, the universe, Tao Calligraphy Healing Field, and all the souls who joined together as one, in one voice and one heart, chanting, praying, singing, and more, the islands of Hawai’i were spared from a potentially devastating outcome. We are indeed very blessed and completely grateful for the love and grace of all who participated in this highly dramatic event.
As students of Master Sha, we cannot thank him enough for the sacred teachings, the creation of the Tao Calligraphy Field, and the gift of the special soul song Love, Peace and Harmony that have allowed us to contribute to the whole of this remarkable event.

In the winter of 2001, I had the opportunity to meet a unique being who changed my life. I had been suffering from high blood pressure for some time and began a journey of learning different modalities of alternative healing. I learned qigong and Tai Chi that allowed me to go into deeper levels of relaxation, but both forms of traditional Chinese movement exercises did not heal my high blood pressure. My blood pressure reading was 190/90 on a consistent basis. I was in my late twenties, so it scared me to think I would have to take medication at this young age. This began my journey of looking for a way to heal naturally.
As I was biking along a beautiful road near the redwood forests in Soquel, California, I came across a coffee shop and saw a flyer titled “Qiqong for Healing, Patricia Smith.” It caught my attention, and I thought I would give it a try. I went to her class and started to practice right away. She was so excited and started to share with the class these new teachings she was learning from Master Sha. She taught us how to apply the techniques of Soul Mind Body Medicine. Right away, I started to practice the one-hand near, one-hand far technique from the book. I could feel energy. Something was happening to my body, but I could not explain it. The field inside my body was changing. The field around me was changing. This was all new to me. The technique was moving energy from a high-density field to a low-density field. I did not understand it fully, but I could feel the change in my energy, my mood, and overall wellbeing. I was happier. I felt healthier. I did this practice one hour per day for one year. I did serious, dedicated practice. In one year, I was able to transform my health condition and normalize my blood pressure. I was extremely grateful. I was then inspired to learn more about who Master Sha is and why this worked for me.

That began my journey of learning how the field within our body is very important for healing and rejuvenation. The field around our organs, spaces of the body, energy centers, and how the energy flows can help us to have good health. Field theory became of interest to me. We can all feel when we are in a field that makes us feel good. The beach, for example, has a nice field with negative ions that nourish us. People also love to go to the forest to feel energized or have peace in their hearts. We can feel a positive field. We can also feel a negative field that makes us feel down. Think about the last time you went to visit a friend or family member with a nice, well-kept home. The field might have been very loving, so you enjoyed staying there longer. A home that is cluttered or dirty may have a field that feels unpleasant, and you may not want to stay long. We can feel the energy fields around us and within us.
Now it is 2020, and I have had the honor to teach and apply Master Sha’s teaching and practices worldwide. Each time I see miracles happen in front of my eyes. I see each day that this works not only for me but for others, too. What is different now than in 2001 when I first met this extraordinary human being bringing healing to humanity? He has taken field theory to a whole new level. He has created sacred energy spaces called Tao Calligraphy Healing Field that carry a high- level positive field that makes you feel good right away. Many people, when they come to the field, right away feel more love, greater peace in their hearts, and a calmness.
People learn how to connect to the field and do energy and spiritual practices to heal and transform their lives in the field. Late last year, a man in Toronto was suffering from prostate cancer that had spread to his bones. He looked very sick when we met him. He was very fragile and weak. He was also on pain medication. One day he came to meet Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha at Master Sha’s Tao Centre in Toronto. He came into the Tao Calligraphy Healing Field and right away his energy began increasing. He also began to rejuvenate in front of our eyes. He did the practices we taught during the Tao Calligraphy Field Healing Days, and received some transmissions of light. He came back the next day to tell us he was pain free. He has not had to take pain medication since then. He was able to go grocery shopping for the first time in months.
This story has touched my heart and deepened my appreciation for the Tao Calligraphy Field and the teachings and practices of Master Sha. Stories like this happen daily in the Tao Calligraphy Field. It amazes my heart each day and brings me great joy to see people transform their suffering to good health and wellbeing. Eighteen years later from the day I met Master Sha, I am now his leading teacher spreading the Tao Calligraphy Healing Field and his teachings. It is my great honor to serve in this way. Master Sha has taken his teachings to a whole new level. It took me one year of dedicated practice of one hour per day to transform my health condition. Now, with the Tao Calligraphy Healing Field you can accelerate your healing journey. People experience pain relief and transformation of their health conditions much faster. Some experience it instantly, some over a few weeks and months, and, for some, it can be years. The Tao Calligraphy Healing Field accelerates your healing journey and process. It worked for me. I believe in my heart it can work for you.

It is well known that exposure to disaster is associated with high levels of stress, with possible long-term health effects such as inflammation and weakened immune function. It has been further discovered that those with strong resilience, the ability to bounce back and recover quickly, have a greater advantage to overcome this type of stress.
In light of these changing times, the purpose of On the Light Side is to offer our readership support to boost spiritual, as well as temporal, coping resources through humor and the role it plays in developing resilience. Developing the ability to cope through humor is to support and improve one’s resilience and, eventually, quality of life. Please read the following contributions from fellow healers and enjoy!
This delightful photograph was circulated throughout the Hawaiian Islands while many communities statewide prepared for the arrival of Hurricane Douglas.

Although the iconic Uncle Billy’s hotel in Hilo is no longer in operation, many visitors recall seeing a carved wooden plaque over the registration desk with emergency instructions that read:
IN CASE OF TSUNAMI
- Remain calm.
- Pay your bill.
- Then run like _______!
(Editor’s note: The words “the wind” require two blanks.)

In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, schools are closed and children are required to remain at home. One of the joys of this situation became apparent when a playful conversation between a six-year-old and her four-year-old brother was overheard. The six year old asked her brother, “What do you call a bear without ears?” Brother replied, “I don’t know.” Then she said, “B.”
(Editor’s note: It’s like a fish without an eye. You call it fsh.)
